Just goes to show, we "Oldies" are as safe as Houses, behind a Flight Yoke, Steering wheel, or Handle Bars... ...!

That's great; goes to show it's never too late. I've known and flown with some much older pilots, and they do just fine... flying keeps you young.

I almost started crying to read that.  Being in my mid-thirties, with 2 children and 1 more on the way, and struggling behind a mountain of debt, I sometimes really get a desperate feeling about whether I will ever be able to get a PPL.

Fortunately, I have two things going for me: the support of my partner in pursuing my dreams and great stories likes.  Sigh.  It really does make me believe there is hope for me yet!
