A long loving look; this is a great shot in this film.
Some more great footage from the nose hatch... that doesn't look like much fun, does it?
Best seat in the house- no doubt.
Calypso had all the latest bells & whistles, like this bulky telefax printer for getting weather updates.
I guess this was pretty heady stuff for flight in Africa in 1978.
I can't make this out, but the story was that some storms threatened their planned route.
Pretty accurate, too... soon it's obvious that they have to make an unplanned stop.
After making a low pass over a waterfall (not Victoria; I forget which one), Philippe puts her down on the river.
