A nice set of pictures in that link. I must be way behind the times, but when did "No Guts, No Glory" leave the Stephen Grey's collection. Was she sold/swapped??

She was sold around the Decenber 2006, January 2007 time frame to Claire Aviation Inc.

She received her airworthiness test on January 3, 2007 and was certified on March 1st.

Her New N number is N147PF.

That's a beautiful restoration job. I found an interesting article on the history of MK959 here. --> http://www.courtesyaircraft.com/images/959RT%20Spit%20Images/N959RT%20Warbird%20Digest%20article.pdf

They had a bit of a shake-up at TFC in 2006 when P-47D "No Guts No Glory", recently restored P-51C "Princess Elizabeth", and the F-7F Tigercat were sold to new owners in the USA. I'm told the Beaufighter is also likely to be sold abroad. However, these were replaced by other types including an even rarer P-47G Razorback 'Little Demon', TF-51D "Miss Velma" & a P-40B Warhawk. This Gentleman also owns a B-25 and a TBM-3E Avenger.

I see a roadtrip in my future!!!  Milleville is about an 45 minutes from me so it's close enough.

I took this shot of "No Guts, No Glory" at Flying Legends 2006. I think this was her last performance in England before she went back home to the US.

Thanks for posting the P-47 shot.  That is my fighter of choice and the real reason i'll be headed down to MVI even though the Spit will be a sweet aircraft to see in person for the first time!!

I'll be out to Jones Beach this year. Hopefully she'll do a display there.
