Posted: Sat Jan 05, 2008 10:14 amIn my old 1967 Morris 1100, motor car, I fitted a panel-mounted Vacuum Gauge to my carburettor manifold, calibrated in Green-Yellow-Red areas indicating the efficiency of the Fuel Flow*....
It worked a treat, and saved me loads of petrol!!
Put your foot to the floor,....and this broke the Vacuum...needle spun into the Red area...indicating burning too much fuel...."Back off the pedal my old Son...Keep the needle in the Green!."........l!!
