they've always been expensive for RIAT. ::)
However good news is farnborough is back this year so I might be making that trip. I enjoyed my last trip there so it'll be nice to go back again.

If I HAD to choose between the 2 I'd go for Duxford though....twas the best show last year, and everything at RIAT of interest will be at Farnborough the week after anyway ;)

You're joking right? Farnborough is crap, pathetic display line and half the stuff doesn't even display on public days! Besides, the only items that will appear at both RIAT and Farnborough will be items from manufactures, which means quite a lot actually won't be at Farnborough at all.

I think you're confusing it with the Festival of Speed at Goodwood. The 2008 Formula 1 British Grand Prix is at Silverstone on 4th - 6th July. https://www.britishgp.co.uk/index.asp
