Can you imagina taxiing around LAX with that thing? You'd need a lead lower fuselage to keep from tipping over.

The A380 isn't ugly!

The A380 is nothing more than a double decker bus (albeit even uglier than most), designed with no other thoughts but how much money it can make (like all other modern airliners), so do you also consider the buses on your local route attractive?

I think that is the motive behind all airliners since Pontius was a pilot. Airlines are in the business of making a profit, just like bus companies.*

I can think of a lot of aircraft far uglier than the A380 & most of those are military types.

*PS. I don't know how either succeed in doing that. Most airlines seem to be permanently bankrupt.

As for whether or not the A-380 is beautiful or ugly, I guess it is all in the eye of the beholder.  I happen to quite like it (even though I am a big Boeing fan, and am miffed about losing the "world's largest passenger aircraft" title to Airbus).  But, I think I like it just because I am in love with the technology of flight and pushing the enveloped ever farther forward, even in strange incremental steps.

That, and the A-380 has bedrooms!  I am so totally getting a ticket for one right after I win the lotto!  ;D

As for the A-390, it looks like it has more than just bedrooms, it looks like it has flats for rent!  I want one!  ;D  Hilarious edit!
