SQ A380 at LHR?

I was driving through Streatham in South london this afternoon and had a very clear view of the incoming traffic to LHR and could have sworn I saw a Singapore Airlines A380. It was too fat to be an A340, the fuselage was too straight for a 744 although I couldn't see how many engines it had as it was too far away (about 6-7 miles).
Anyone got any ideas? I've had a google but couldn't find anything.
I hope it was the A380, but doubt it as it would have made some news.

It would have been all over the internet for several days beforehand if it was - just like whenever the AN225 appears.

It might have been the Singapore A380 you saw, they had the first flight last months. 25 of October
