Private (Sea) Harrier

Postby C » Sat Nov 10, 2007 8:02 pm

It's been posted over on PPrune, that Art Nalls successfully flew the first privately owned Harrier yesterday in the US.

Quite a milestone IMO.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

I believe he's an ex USMC AV8 pilot, so I imagine he's had a large line waiting to lend a hand... ;D

Never flown in a Harrier... My only chance was scuppered when someone broke a Gr.7 meaning the T10 had other jobs to do...

You really missed something that was better than a very intimate moment with your nearest and dearest. In fact if I could do it again I would promise to abstain for the next 6 months 8-)
