May I suggest anyone with a passing interest in the service perhap pop into their local newsagent a purchase a copy of "Air Forces Monthly" this month (October 2007 edition).

Within it is a very eye opening and insightful article into the present state of the RAF... :)

Will do just for you Charlie.  ;)

Oh and Charlie...if the Air Marshall reads your above post, I hope he won't think you are one rank to high.   :)    ;)    ;D  LOL

Just kidding.  ;)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
P.S.  I was told by a RCAF Squadron Leader that I was one rank to high once...evil man he was  :o   ;D

Wish I could read it but I have enough trouble just getting my monthly copy of Aeroplane before the 20th of each month (so three weeks after everyone else) ::) ;D
