mil band scanner

Could anyone recommend a good but cheap military band scanner, I looked on ebay uk but no luck.

I have the first, it doesn't pick up the military freqs. I'll think about the second though. Thank you.

Sorry, I was so pleased with the price I missed the frequency on the first one. Probably explains why I end up buying stuff twice ;D

When I was in the USAF we used simple 3-band Motorolas.  ;D Channel 3 was tuned to ATC frequency, channels 1 and 2 are a secret.  ;D
BTW, aren't ship to ship signals encoded digital these days?

only the police are encrypted as far as I know.
I do know when we were at the mach loop a guy there had a scanner which was picking up the planes as they navigated the low level which included a trainee sounding rather lost asking the guy above him for directions. :)
