747SP weight and balance... odd procedure?

Probably went unnoticed... 747SP from Damascus to Caracas non-stop. Basically where it was built for

Now somewhere halfway it says that the crew orders all Eco class pax to seat in the rearmost seats before taking off with max fuel load. Is this a trim limitation or has it to do with the temperature on the ground (as it uses almost the full runway length)?

And another one... how does Conviasa think to manage this route with an A340-200... or will they get a -600 for this one

Interesting, but a thought on the pax: moving them rearwards would make rotation easier with the decrease in stability...
