No Harriers in the Falklands flypast. As nice as it would be, the Harrier isn't allowed to fly over London, due to it only having one engine and a poor glide ratio if that engine happens to fail.
Strangely, there are a multitude of helicopters taking part in the flypast. Gliding helicopters I presume... :-?

That's a bit odd, considering the fact that (As far as I know), the Harrier was one of the biggest aviation players in the Falklands battles, correct? You think they'd have at least a couple fly over...

All the RAF/Army helos in current service bar the (Single) Squirrell and the Gazelle are twin or three engined - certainly the Sea King and Chinooks with Falklands relevance are. Most appropriate would have been to have Bravo November leading the formation.

I'm unfamilar with the workings of a helicopter really, but I would have presumed with aircraft like the Chinook, it'd be an engine per rotor? If that was the case, it'd be just as disastrous if one engine failed!
I'm guessing that I'm wrong, though!

Ooooh no no no... All gearboxed. Otherwise any engine failures would be fatal. Gearbox problems tend to be more of an issue.

They have big whirly things on the top that go round and round ...... I think those whirly things help it break clear of the earth and fly ;D

Nah, helos are made to look ugly, so that the earth just rejects them.
