High overcast, wind calm

0.4 dual, 0.3 solo

3 landings

"Normal t.o. & lndg, normal TP"
"Supervised solo"

I've got just enough money for a short one today. I'm a little preoccupied with my troubles as I perform the preflight, but manage not to miss anything this time. Takeoff, as usual, brings me into sharper focus, and we make two circuits, with me making fair landings.
After the second, J. suggests a quick solo hop.
I agree... sounds like a good idea!

Again, I'm wrapped in a glow of calm excitement as I taxi alone to the end of the runway. But less nervous this time, as I push the throttle forward, smiling. I peel 475 off the runway, and go on to rack up my seventh tenth of an hour of solo flight, executing one textbook pattern and a good landing- better than the previous two.
J. is very pleased, and for a while, I will ride high on the thrill of achievement.
