Just looking around through A.net and found this very unique pic, take a look and leave a comment on what you think.

'Spot the problem that is going to happen, or the crash that is going to happen'

Wow, that Vampire is going to crash! :o Scary. Oops. Wonder if the picture is of the Buff starting up or the plane crashing?

Sadly in the first picture just out of shot is the Vintage Pair's Meteor, also in its final descent. As mentioned in the caption, the Vampire crew ejected. The Meteor crew could not, and were killed. :(

The second one is interesting. Captioned as being the final moments of the Meteor at Mildenhall it may be, but unless it metamorphasised identity mid flight, it is not the Vintage pair Meteor.

You're quite right. Perhaps a mix up of old film prints over the years, and the wrong ones got scanned.

I sincerely doubt that the poster of that Seafire pic has the actual copyright for it.  Nothing like pirating other people's work...  ::)

"Photo taken by my grandfather during a mission to Indochina."

I think he will have permission enough. ;)
