Right back to square one with eyespotting, and gunsfights, just like WW1 and WW2.. ;D

Looks a lot like the X-02 Wyvern from the Ace Combat series  8-)

Another series I was thinking about was Sentoy Yousei Yukikaze..

They did make a more believeable Aircraft Anime a while ago though... Area88 the storyline isn't realistic but at least the Planes are :D Actually There is a Talon in the Area88 paintscheme

It's a good looking plane.  Wonder if there will be the mutual distrust type of standoff like that of the Soviets and the US, which amounted to.....more or less, a standoff.  Unfortunately, China has been quite consistent and candid for a very, very long time about their desire to take Taiwan one way or another.   :-/
