Heard about this a while back. Just shows that regardless of the circumstances the guys out there are very well trained and the cameraderie is strong enough for them to volunteer for this mission even though it had never been done before.

Same thing happened a while back (3-4 years I think) with some AH-1's and a few marines  ;)

Damn Apache pilots copied them!  ;D

Pilot: "Ok boys hold on tight and we will get you back to base safely LETS GO!!"

chopper flies away with the guys sitting there.

lands at the base and everyone gets off/out

Pilot: "Well guys whats it like riding out there on an apache?"

Soldier: "WHAAAT!? I CANT HEAR A WORD YOUR SAYING ALL I CAN HEAR IS A RINGING SOUND IN MY EARS AND A REPEATING THUMP THUMP THUMP NOISE!!"
