Maybe a heart attack or an aneurysm.  They are the type of things that would kill you that fast!!

As it was not a transatlantic flight it in unlikly that to be bordom that took him.

This is why 2-man crews were first introduced: to provide redundancy.
As for the complexity of systems and procedures requiring two people, consider that the FO got it home by himself... after watching his captain die right there (more or less).

Actually, I would think all the FS training would do good.  If a controller tells you what headings, altitiudes, and speeds to hold, a FS pilot could probably put hem in the autopilot.  All the actual flying (assuming ILS) would be the touchdown, and youd have to really screw up to crash the plane on landing in such a way that its fatal.

I just heard it on the news(Your link has been change there no info of it) Seems that took off from Dallas towards Mexico but the co-Pilot had to land somewhere near the border in USA side,Yeah It must been somekind of heart attack..
