Concorde will never fly again, end of story, anyone/group who seriously thinks they can get something like that flying again is delusional.

Thats been said about a lot of aircraft. It's unlikely we'll see one fly again but who knows what the future holds?

The bodies that are keeping the french Concorde in "almost" flight condition are all ex Concorde engineers..... so there is SOME hope.

According to Airliners.net (sorry   ;) ) there are two kept in flyable condition in France:

-F-BTSD, stored at LBG is regularly checked and maintained by an Air France engineers team.

-F-BVFC, stored in Toulouse by Airbus is also regularly maintained.

Concorde was a massively expensive beast and with very high maintenance needs, it's just not going to happen. Even if it did fly again it would never be allowed in UK airspace!

I am not going to attempt to predict the future. While the airframes stay in one piece anything is possible.

Nobody ever said it was going to be repaired just to start commercial services again.

Besides, the concorde is being held by both Air France and Airbus, obviously theres enough money there, being that Air France used to fly it.

I guess we should keep an eye on them then in the future, I would love to see one fly again because the last time I saw one was in 2001 I think and that was only the second time I had ever seen one fly, both at LBIA.
