For those who are intrested, This years October Air show (Held last year at Glendale Airport) is set to run October 20 - 22nd at Phoenix-Goodyear (KGYR) Airport.
Last years air show was pretty good with lots of vintage aircraft on display, but no demonstration team.

This year is set to feature The Blue Angels Navy demonstration team. OMG! I'm beside myself. (Old Navy man here.) Tickets are now on sale over the internet so get 'em while they're hot.

This is the Blue Angels 60th annyversary tour. This is actually a home coming of sorts for them - they started out here back when (KGYR) was called NAS Litchfield.

Bit far away for me...

Breighton and Leuchars are all that's left on the calender here...

Too bad Ill be at another airshow at the time!  Wings Over Houston is that same weekend.  We get the Thunderbirds!  Last year it was the Canadian Snowbirds who were AMAZING!
