Gentlemen (and ladies),

As some of you know, the project to get XH588 airworthy again is reaching a critical stage. I shalln't go into details, but you can help by visiting the link below, and filling in the form at the bottom of the page (name and address) - regardless of your nationality. This will then be sent electronically to the UK's Heritage Lottery Fund. It has been pointed out to the HLF that they have already put about

All we can do is try. We owe it to those who were involved with the Vulcan in service, and to those who are too young to have ever had the privelge to see, hear, and feel this awesome piece of British engineering fly.

I just found out that my granddad flew a vulcan when he was in the RAF, lucky bugger.

He also flew the Canberra and the Lightning
