Movie flying: objective burma! part 2

In the feeble light of a cloudy dawn, the ships make their way deeper into enemy territory, over some of the wildest jungle on the planet. Some of the planes are decoys; they will fly off at fairly low altitude on another heading, in hopes of confusing the Japanese garrisons.

The copilot hits the standby light:

"Stand in the door!"
The jumpers clip on and make their way to the door.

The LZ... yeah, I can't really see it either. But it's there, a modest clearing a few clicks from the radar station.

There's the jump signal... everybody out!

Probably best to finish praying before you go out that door; got to stay focused and ready to pull the reserve if that main doesn't deploy. Then there's the enemy... are they down there, waiting?

No ground fire yet... so far, so good...

Next: Mission accomplished... time for the resupply drop
