I know there are a few here who like this sort of thing, so here's more- the story's not over yet, and it gets better!
Once more it's time for the ol' heave-ho... note the guy sitting on the floor; his job is to push the load with his feet.
Well done!! Right on the ridgeline. and just in time- the platoon is at the end of their rope.
Their celebration is twofold, because as it turns out, there's a special reason they were sent to this particular place...
The Allied invasion of Burma has begun!!
Not just paratroopers, but assault gliders, full of troops and equipment... it's on!!
Next: the amazing assault gliders!!
