Prob'ly BPB... but: who has flown what?

Postby beaky » Sat Apr 22, 2006 2:29 pm

The similar thread in the Flight School forum got me thinking about this question. Some have already provided their list, but what the heck. Some may need to update... like me!!
I'm talking about as a pilot, but not necessarily PIC... as for passengers, that is a thread I'll leave to someone else. No elitism meant here (no, really ;D)... my list isn't very impressive, but I'm proud of it, I guess. And I honestly have forgoitten the models of a couple of airliners I've been on (typical of me ::) ). I am also hardly a jet-setter; my list of airline flights is not impressive. Taken a few hops in light aircraft as a passenger; more interesting, but I'd prefer to see that in a passenger-only thread, also.

In order of accumulated hours:
Cessna 172
Cessna 150/152
Zlin 242
Van's RV-4
Piper Tomahawk
Piper J3
Just broke the 200-hr mark recently; feels pretty good .

Does a five second hop from a roof in your homemade parachute made by schoolmaps count?

Hmm.

In order;
C172, 2 hours
Decathelon, 45 minutes (as pax)
C185, 2 hours
Cub, 1 1/2 hours

I didn't really pay for these, I just hitched a ride and the owners of the planes let me fly. :) The Cub was a birthday present from my parents though.

Several varieties of kite. Including a couple of stunt kites and one that came free in a packet of sugar puffs.

Only flown commercialy :P  Smallest aircraft ever in was a TWE J-31.

But in a few weeks I will be graduating high school and plan to find a decent paying job that will allow me enough extra cash to begin flying lessons.  So hoping by next year I will have at least flown something ;)

Cessna 172N - 77 logged hours, about 1 un-logged hour, and about 2 hours as a passenger
Cessna 172RG - 2 hours passenger
Piper Archer - 1 hour PIC, about 2 hours passenger

The two airplanes I've spent most of my time in N3477E and N4879D.

;)

EDIT:  I guess the link expired, or didn't work, but you can still enter the N-number if you're really interested. ;)
