Rare sight at Stuttgart....

Postby fabiane » Wed Apr 19, 2006 1:01 am

Hello all,
when I drove my mom to Stuttgart aiport on April 12th I found that there were 2 Delta B763 parked. Normally they land at about 9am, refuel and head back for Atlanta at 11am. But on April 11th there were technical problems and the plane had to stay the night. So there were 2 Deltas flying the same route the same morning. The one in the background was the plane that stayed the night, still wearing the OC. Sorry for the quality, I only had my cell with me....
Hope you like it!
Cheers
Fabian

I consider a 763 not a rare sight... except if its one of the VIP machines... but hey, thats my opinion
Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and [url=http://an24.uw.hu/]An-24RV[/ur

I see I have to make things clear:
It is a rare sight seeing 2 Delta B763 at the same time in EDDS. Remember Stuttgart is a relativly small airport. The only US carrier coming here is Delta with one flight a day. Nothing more from the US. When you are living near a bigger aiport this would be nothing, because you get it every day.  So seeing 2 Delta's at the same time in EDDS is something you don't get here every day. And seeing 2 different color shemes spices this up a bit.
Hope you liked it anyhow.
Cheers,
Fabian

I wish BHX would pull more suprises like that on me. A random 747 or A340 every now and again would be a pleasure
Where's the challenge in landing with wheels?

Already looking forward to the Jumbos coming in for the Fifa World Cup ;D!
French offical are planing to come with one. Let's see what's coming for EDDS when there are plays in the City. Could be interesting.
Cheers again,
Fabian
