Tu-144LL Landing Video

I thought it was an interesting video as not too many people seen this bird in the air. I love the flare and the bounces.

Canard lift keeps the angle... so they have to push the ass on the runway (unlike Concorde that is very busy falling down at that point)

Suprised they didnt break anything. Anything from the West and you would probably not have made it past the second bounce in one peice. The Soveits always did have a tendency to overbuild things though.

Not 100% designed for unpaved operations, but still quite a heavy gear assembly with loads of wheels.
And with the gear mounted at the strongest point in the wing (engine pods) you have quite a lot of structural strength up there.
