I know that at airports airliners have designated gates (like here In houston continental goes to every terminal (center hub) but at other places its only at terminal A or something).  Does anyone know how I can find out what gates airlines use at various airports?

I thought you were saying Bill Gates was starting up his own airline... oh I must be tired - it's gone midnight.

I think individual airports have their on way of gate assignment. I googled "airline gate assignments" and this was just one of many hits. It Salt Lake citys:
