Viggen for Dutch Museum

Completely Unexpected the Swedish Airforce granted one of it's Saab Viggens to the Dutch Museum "Aviodrome"  This was a surprise! They asked for one five years ago and never heard anything untill last december. The Viggen was flown in last wednesday on it's own power and will be displayed next to a : Mig-21,A Hawker Hunter, and a Lockeheed Starfighter.

Should make an interesting scene! Must check it out soon! ;D

Lucky them. I wonder if any UK museums may have asked for one. The kind of think Newark or Midland Air Museum would go for...

Waht's even more fun is that the thing is basically completely operational! The had to fly the thing in this week because the life endurance on the ejection seat expirde today!

They are starting to have interesting stuff in Dutch Museums! A flying Constellation,Dc-2 adn as of recently Holland has it's own flying P-51! very nice !
