just practice and experience.
It's like driving a car in the end, really.
But I can tell you that the 747 is quite tough for new pilots to handle on the ground, since it's so long and the nosewheel is very far back. Often you must wait to turn the aircraft until the cockpit is litterarly over the grass ;D

Like Nexus said, you kind of get a "feel" for it after you have a lot of experience.
I'd imagine they have to practice in a very, very large parking lot though

Fortunately reverse bay parking isn't really a requirement.

The Trident airliner made use of a system placed under the runway centerline to keep it heading strait down the runway after landing (following a perfect touchdown having using the autoland system, of course ;) )

C-17 Globmasters back up to cargo bays and actually can parallel park. If they wanted to.

It's a bit easier to do in one of those since the whole back end opens up... who needs a rear view mirror anyway?
