I am limited to a maximum of 4 airshows a year.  It is usually 3 sometimes 2.  We don't get many airshows in the PNW, but the ones we do get are incredible!

We have almost no airshows within 100 miles of where I live >:(. I went to two last year, one in Kansas City (about 50 miles away) and AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI. That one should count as 20.

LOL ;D I really don't see why a simple question wouldn't suffice. ::)

I think I get the coconut, over the last few years anyway. I've lost count but I usually get to at least one air display every weekend throughout the season which lasts from May until October. You can work that out yourselves. ;)

Roll on next season. :D http://aeroflt.users.netlink.co.uk/shows/showdate.htm

I'm lucky to go to any, at this point in time. However I tend to go to Bruntingthorpe about twice a year, for the Cold War Jet days. And I went to Waddington this year, so I'll put myself down for 1-2 :P

I'm with you on that one Mark,.....the Comox Airshow is only every second year.........

.......when I lived in Ontario, I would visit the majors in the area.....CNE, Trenton, Hamilton, London, Borden(when they had them) Niagara Falls, and the even some minors were a tad better than just OK.

I was travelling home past the Brampton Airfield on a fine Sunday afternoon one year, and saw the neatest Shrike/Commander, doing a deadstick loop and split-S to a landing.....how many guys do we know of, who could do that maneuver......it was confirmed on the radio as I drove up Hwy 10 ...yup,....none other than Bob Hoover !

I get to all the Duxford shows pluss Waddington most years. Some years I get along to RIAT but I've not been since it moved from Cottesmore back to Fairford. Been to Mildenhall a few times but that show seems to have ended now.
Next year I hope to get to all my usual shows pluss a few of the Old Warden shows.

If you want air shows come to the UK, especially my part of the country. Air displays are one of the most popular outdoor events in Britain. Many of them are free, like the big seafront displays at Southend, Eastbourne & Jersey in the Channel Islands. Some of the bigger ones are not a patch on those I fondly remember from my young days which is why I now prefer the smaller events. The Farnborough Air Show in the 1950s - 1960s was an annual event & very different to what it is now.

You should have come to Wichita to see Patty Wagstaff and Jim Leroy
