Current issue of AOPA on Flight Sims

Got my latest issue in the mail yesterday. Only had a brief time to peruse it between supper, taking care of the animals, and collapsing into slumber, but there's a very nice article about Flight Sims and how effective they are as a training tool.

There's also a nice full two-page spread of an Aeronca Sedan floatplane on the table of contents. The picture is almost as nice as some if this month's screenshot entries!

Yeah, it was a good article, they really did a good job describing why each was better than the other.  I read in it though that the FAA had parts of X-Plane taken out before they would allow it to be released.  Anyone know why that is? ???
