Some of the BA/Loganair Twin Otters land on the beaches up in the Orkneys and Shetlands on commercial services, so I wouldn't be too suprised by anything!

theres a pretty nice addon for fs that has that airport

used to have chipmunks flying over our football field at that height on landing sometimes. From the angle this was shot, the plane looks a little lower than it is. Not much but a little.

The RAF frequently operates C-130 off Pembrey Sands in Wales too...

On that last image link there rifleman ..........I think the words on the side of the aircraft translate to "The Tourists are Panicing!"
