If you continue the nose curvature down to a point, it appears that Messrs Boeing have admitted that the Hatfield team got the nose aerodynamics right nearly 60 years ago with the Comet(ok, windows weren't their forte though...).
I think it was a wee bit more than coincidence that the front section of the Caravelle was a straight graft from the Comet 1?

x0x (anything with a zero in the middle) is worldwide registered by Peugeot (that was after the Boeing )707. No-one can use these numbers (Porsche tried... and the result is the 911, which actually was '901' first)
So it's gonna have to skip and become 818 ...
