This might not be as unusual as you think. If he'd picked the right aircraft nobody would have been any the wiser.

That's how silly people get killed. I can think of some similar incidents in fast and pointy aeroplanes where people have been...

But Doug's right - in the middle of the Atlantic no one would have known if they'd found the right aircraft...

Exactly Doug.

Just look at all those shots over at Airliners.net. Do you think they are lucky shots? I doubt it s many are most likely planned without anybody ever knowing.

I don't care how good a friend or how skilled a pilot... it's just not worth the risk, or the trouble it caused! Stupid...
