Has anyone seen one of these yet?  I've only seen pictues, but am dying to get to use one in real life.  They look kind of like the default 737 panel...  :)

Here's a picture of one...

Yes I have seen them, they have been out for about a year, I saw a picture of some aircraft and it had that cockpit setup

...it's comforting to notice that they've retained the usual get-you-home-safely, vacuum and gyro instruments when the circuit-breaker blows on the glass panel electrics... :o...!
LOL...!

Cheers all...!

Paul.

I don't think that picture is of a 172, unless they decided to put a constant speed prop on it. I've been in a few glass panel 182s and a few Pipers with the Avydine displays, they're really cool.

I've flown a constant speed prop 172 with a turbo-charger and retractable gear and just about every other doo-dad you could ever want, except a glass panel.  But my dad's company just helped work on a new hangar going up at the airport and the owner of the hangar had a 172 with a G1000 in it.  It was pretty. ;D ;D

Yep, the Cessna !72 RG Cutlass! :) Our school has two of em! :) of course they are still running the old steam guages, but they are still a little better than the regular old 172's...lol

Yep, I seen those on Cessna's website as well.  They are good looking.  Though in my personal flavor, I like the old analog gauges the most  ;)
