Jetsgo no more

Postby StrutterGunner » Fri Mar 11, 2005 6:59 pm

Well, Canadian carrier Jetsgo went belly up this morning, stranding a few thousand people at least. Unfortunate, a friend of mine is one of the senior pilots at Jetsgo..looks like he's out of a job now. Yet another example of the volitility of todays airline business...

Yep. A lot of the majors have enough money they can just keep throwing in to keep ticking. It's much easier for the small airlines to just throw in the towel though.
Pilot for a major US airline certified in the: EMB-120, CRJ, 727, 737, 757, 767, and A-320 and military, T-38, C-130, C-141, and C-5 along with misc. other small airplanes. Any questions, I'm here for you.
