The Virgin Atlantic Global Flyer is due off withing the next 3 hrs, probably between 2200 and 2300 GMT...

Cool! That is a neat site, but very slow!It must be a unique feeling being on top of the world alone for so long... except for the fact that he'll have full time contact  with just about everything and supposedly even having Citation business jet chase planes.

Appearently it took off in Lansing Kansas. just outside what I would consider a reasonable distance for me to drive to see it.

Personally, that is outside of my driving radius (not my flying radius though).

Why do that when I could go to Fort Worth and see the F-16 factory and the Bell helicopter factory? :D

As of about 3 minutes ago Steve Fosset has completed his flight. Two new records in one flight!
