was jus wondering if there are any links for military bases and such to be able to listen to other stuff then commercial air traffic?

Now that is illegal  ;) Or on paper it is, you can buy scanners to pick up the freqs but i would imagine broadcasting on the net would land some nice men from the CIA or FBI on your door step

At least in Sweden the military has their own ATC which offers MUCH more assistance..heck they tell you everything. No flightplan is really necessary  ;D

And I suppose it's illegal to be eardropping on them  :)

I think it should be quite obvious that listening in to military communications of any sort (even the police) is not encouraged & probably illegal in every country in the world. Quite how they could stop anyone doing it is a different matter but I'm sure it would not be easy to find on the Internet.

Civil ATC is quite a different thing. I'll take Ivan's word for it that it's technically illegal in Belgium. There seem to be a lot of strange laws in Europe as those of us in the UK have found out over the last few years. Jimbo, you'll get an ulcer worrying about this while at the same time listening because you enjoy it so much. Contact the proper authorities (anonomously, if you like), and ask them. Or if you can speak to a controller (call a control tower or control center, contact  their union, whatever), I'm sure they'll give you the low-down.  Tell them that you'd just like to listen (and learn). Law or no law, there's no harm in listening, when you think about it.
 Monitoring law-enforcement bands could certainly be useful for criminals, but unless you're transmitting, you're not going to interfere with ATC operations by listening . Military bands? Might be a different story, but knowing how many receivers there are out there, I'd imagine the military would rely on code names, etc. to conceal details of operations, and if I'm not mistaken, most scanners don't pick up on the bands the military uses.
 I've heard of cases where people have caused problems by talking on ATC channels (could be dangerous!), but never heard of anybody getting in trouble for listening. I've been doing it for years, and so far no knock on the door in the middle of the night...
Anyway, don't look for the answer here. Ask the authorities, or the controllers themselves.

Here in the UK you used to be able to Listen to the Police, Fire brigade, Ambulance service, Shipping and ATC channels on a normal home radio set. I know that when they opened up the airwaves for more commecial use these wavelengths were taken off domestic sets. Now with digital communications the police and military use encrypted channels. You can however buy Airband radios to listen to ATC. There's nothing illeagal about listening ....... just don't transmit.

liveatc.net actually has a link to listen to Willow Grove NAS tower (the guys that always yell at me for busting their airspace ), but it was down.

well i did find these unfprtantly no web linked ones but if u have a scanner ur set.. also some pre recorded ones but i do not have the patients to d/l the files at 4k/s lol anyway here u go

In the UK I don't think they really mind you listening to the radio traffic at most military (aviation) bases, infact they let publishers such as Airlife freely publish the frequencys in so called "spotters handbooks". It ties in well with all the viewing enclosures that are appearing at bases such as Waddington and Coningsby...
