Snowbirds crash

Postby Staiduk » Fri Dec 10, 2004 12:50 pm

Hey all.
I'm not sure if anyone else is following this; but two of the Canadian Snowbirds just crashed during a practice flight. :(
Reports are sketchy just yet; but it seems both pilots ejected - one has been confirmed safe.

Don't know which of the pilots were involved; but the news says they hit in a head-on collision; so it seems likely it was the two solos - Capts. Miles Selby (#8 ) and Chuck Mallet (#9).

More info as I get it.

Sounds like they got out ok according to the press at the moment.

Duplicate thread again though...

...although both were posted at almost the same time.
