Does anyone know how long it takes the pilot to seet up the FMc and pre-flight checks?...for me in the PMDG...I know it is a FS product and not real, but it takes me about 5-10 minutes at the max to set the aircraft up fully and be taking off

it all depends on the plane, pilot and airline in question. For instance Uniteds 777 and i believe 767/757's all have automatic uploads so its a quick case of request the upload to the computer wait for it to be sent and then check it. others where you have long flight plans to input could take a while.

Either way, United's crew still have to cross check the route so it's not really faster than having the flight stored in the FMS. But it is obviously faster than typing the route manually  :)

I'm done in about 2 mins, most of the time less than that, but I don't look into the perfect selected temperature for de-rate, or things such as take-off position shift and Engine out in the DP etc...stuff like that aint important in FS  :)

But just to get the IRS aligned will usually take roughly 10mins, depending on where you are (it will take longer on "high" latitudes, due to slower earth rotation)
