gulfstream slipstream ??? what is it ?

I dont know what its called. But its when the plane just glides when cruising because the air is just pushing it. not a very good explanation i dont know if its even right. Can somebody explain. Does this exist

do you mean the Jetstream? Yes it does exist gives a good push to the trans atlantic flights heading to Europe, but can also be very unpredictable.

#1  If you're ozzy, fly inverted, so the jetstream thinks you're actually flying away, then ease into it, while opening the rear ramp of the An124.

#2 Every one else, flies up to the altitude of the jetstream.

its still not an exact science for finding the jetstream, but usually you will have the current track its on, and then its just working out the altitude which isnt too difficult because it can be 1000's of feet in height

If you're in Ozzy's Piper Cub over St. Louis, heading to Los Angeles, and you see the Statue of Liberty, an hour later, you can say you caught the jestream.

You whip out the VAD winds chart or look at the sats to find itt's teltale path.
