I was just wondering what was the most popular WWII radial engine, so here i go! I may have missed out a few german and british engines, but i'm mainly focusing on the Pacific Theatre. if you like one i've missed out, then shout out!

Image The lower picture says it all!  The 4360 gets my vote. Maybe not the most influential to the outcome of the war but it certainly wins the Wile E. Coyote ACME aviation award for ludicrous engineering feats.

Bristol Centaurus

I've never seen the Centaurus (A bit odd, since i live in Bristol ;D) but from what i've heard it was a good engine. What was the horsepower rating of it, and how many cylinders?

sweet. not bad, but i still prefer the R-4360. Oh, wait. did the Centuarus power the Bristol Brabazon? if it did, then yes i have seen the engine. it's one that they ripped out the Brabazon.
