Concorde again!

Postby zcottovision » Tue Oct 21, 2003 6:20 pm

As part of its farewell tour, Concorde flew into Aldergrove (EGAA) today. I felt obliged to go and see it, and it didn't disappoint me. It's the most beautiful aircraft I've ever seen, and if all aeroplanes could look the same, I'd want them to look like Concorde. The roar of the RR engines is fantastic, too. Simply a marvellous plane!

Shame it's going out of service. :(

you lucky bastard! i'd like to 'hear' that plane in real life. i've seen it twice, but the engines weren't running. and yes, when you are standing close to those Olympus burners...you are impressed, i garantee you that!  ;)
