Postby Scooby1 » Sat Sep 13, 2003 12:02 pm

First of all, does anyone know if CYVR actually has runway markers (IM MM OM)....cuz i thought it did but apparently in FS it doesnt....also, does anyone know of a website where i can get this sort of info for canadian airfields? I have one that has all the info i need for any airfield in the US...but i fly in canada too and would like to know :)

In the interest of time(my own personal that is) I just pulled up the ILS' on Jeppview. Apparently there are NO "beacons" at Vancouver. Every ILS is an ILS DME , which kinda negates the need for markers. There are NDB's integrated into the 8R and 26L approaches, if it's any consolation! ::)   And before you ask, "Jeppview" costs money, a whole b*ttload!
.....so I loaded up the plane and moved to Middle-EEEE..........OIL..that is......
