First Flight Scheduled

Hey everyone-

After wanting to do so since I was 15 years old, I've finally scheduled my first flight lesson (a.k.a. Disco Flight/Intro Flight).

Saturday afternoon at 1:00, weather permitting, I'll be in the left seat of a Cessna 172 for an hour and a half.

My questions for those of you who have been there are these:

What, if anything, should I bring with me?  (Like a notebook or anything?)  What can I expect from this first flight?  Is it loggable time?

Thanks! ;D

To be able to fly in the left seat, you need to be with an instructor, and to be able to log time, you need to be with an instructor So yes, you should be able to log it.

I've got 1.6 hours of loggable time with a friend who is a CFII, but I havn't bought a log book yet.

Funny...I thought about bringing my camera, but I didn't want to look like too much of a geek when I showed up.  lol

I might.  I'll definitely bring the notebook though!

Thanks guys!

Oooh...great idea!  Thanks!  I was just thinking for sight-seeing pics, I never thought about that!  (Having worked in the airline industry for several years, I'm just about bored with flying pics...one with me at the controls would be awesome!

Thanks for the idea, Craig!
