Sounds delightful Fozzer. If only you'd given me more notice I might have arranged to come up your way for the weekend. :-/

PS. Never been to Herefordshire. Do I need a passport, visa or anything? :P

Hi Craig... ;D...!
You obviously have got our Welsh cousins sussed out... ;)...!

The runway lies East-West, (90-270).
The 270 route must be flown with great care as it can lead you over the Radnorshire Hills into Wales.
The locals in that country, being mostly barbarians, are likely to eat you should you be unfortunate  enough to make an emergency landing in their territory.
(They are likely to use your passport to light the fire).
Shobdon Airfield carries a warning to this effect.
King Offa's Dyke, dividing England from Wales, which we used to fill with oil, and set alight, has long since been filled-in, and therefore offers no safety to the unfortunate aviator who strays into the Land Of Darkness.
You have been warned...
..apart from that...we can offer a nice day out...!
LOL...LOL...LOL...!

Cheers...
Paul.
