Have watched this short clip repeatedly. The windsock that comes into view will clue you...

Flat-out amazing, a skilled pilot wrestling with the wind.

Skillfully.

Skillfully? Not really. The wind is coming from the right. He let the right wing lift. That could of been a fatal mistake. You NEVER let the wing on wind side lift. You crab into the wind with wing level. So it was a close call. He corrected just in time so it was not skillful at all - just lucky. The gusts must of let up just about the time the right wheel lifted off or....or... no telling what would of happened.

Incontrovertably so.

A gust from a nasty crosswind can sneak in under a wing in a split second.
It takes much skill to quickly respond appropriately, which this pilot certainly did.

Yea, verily. :-) Am imagining smelly passenger cabins on all of these landings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJzDRsEKDa0 The 1st one is pre-dawn but they fast brighten up and get increasingly intense as Doris moves in. Those Dash 8's are way squirrely in crosswinds, eh? Strong wings!

Don't watch that many flight videos but these are choice, especially to one like myself adicted to crosswind landings in highly-variable winds. Helps keep things interesting.
