The Vulcans are touted for their reliability, over 10,000 rounds before potential jamming... but then again- That's well under 2 minutes of firing with that weapon, rated @ 6,000 rounds per minute/100 rounds per second. They utilize burst controllers, selectable from 2 or 3 round bursts to as many as 50 rounds per.
