Very sad ending but seemingly very lucky that nobody on the ground was injured from what I can tell. The lad Rich sounded like a nice kid, but mental illness is an awful thing if that is what was behind this.

I just hope there is no kick back on our sims as this is one of the things he mentioned to ATC during his escapade, that he had some experience with sims. Remember the bad press after 9/11.
