Feeling brave ... or got a death wish? Allegiant Air

Postby ftldave » Mon Apr 16, 2018 6:52 am

From 60 Minutes:

"Public documents show an alarming number of aborted takeoffs, cabin pressure loss, emergency descents, and unscheduled landings. Yet for the most part, allegiant's difficulties have managed to stay under the radar of the flying public."

An Aircraft Mechanic only needs two tools, Duct Tape and WD40.
If it moves and it's not supposed to - use the Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and it's supposed to - use the WD40.

Usually I see 60 minutes as a sensationalist program but this time they are spot on.

Anyone flying Allegiant is taking chances with their lives. It’s only a matter of time.

...a fantastic read...>>>

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/allegiant- ... the-radar/

I now feel much safer on my motorcycle in heavy traffic, than flying in a passenger aeroplane!.... :D ....!

Only once in 84 years, travelling a short distance in a passenger aeroplane in 1962.

I watch the TV series; "CBS Reality" on Airport security, etc...

...don't want to do it again!

Paul.... ....!
