You would not believe how happy I am that I have never had to use "Aeroplanes" to go anywhere in my lifetime!

I just sit in my back garden sipping a nice cool lemonade and watch all the aircraft trails criss-crossing the sky above me and sympathise (or not) with all the folks suffering up there!

Paul...pass me another glass of "lemonade".... :obscene-drinkingcheers: ...!

Patient: Doctor, I have a fear of flying.
Doctor: Then don't do it!
Win 8.1 64-bit. DX11. Advent Tower. Intel i7-3770 3.9 GHz 8-core. 8 GB System RAM. AMD Radeon HD 7700 1GB RAM. DVD ROM. 2 Terra Byte SATA Hard Drive. Philips 17" LCD Monitor. Saitek Cyborg X Fly-5 Joystick. ...and a Briggs and Stratton Petrol Lawn Mower.

The unfettered future of your "aircraft trail criss-crossing" watch could squeeze the lemon out of your house... as two of those aircraft trails simultaneously meet directly overhead -- and come crashing down upon you-know-where...

In 1970 I took a plane from Miami to Atlanta, short vacation to visit a friend.

On a Friday, my father picked me up at the University of Miami at exactly 5pm and drove me to KMIA, only 4 miles straight north.

At 6pm I was seated on the plane and it was ready to take off. No mess, no fuss, no bull, no long lines, no waiting. Just get on the plane and relax.

Try to do that today. The times, they sure have a-changed.

I've always had much respect for the operators in ATC, quite how they manage to control everything up there like a giant game of three dimensional chess is beyond me. I think it would probably be easier to juggle soot.
